We need you! Everyone can help make Challenge 22 a success and help us reach our goal of raising $100,000 to eliminate veteran suicide due to PTS.
Individuals, families, businesses, community and civic groups are needed as walkers, sponsors, service providers, or donors/volunteers.

The American Legion Post 63 in Winter Garden is once again partnering to raise money and community awareness of the 22 veteran and active duty suicides happening per day due to PTS. The Challenge 22 event is just one of the vehicles used to create awareness and raise money for this important cause.

The Walk (10AM) *2021 example*
We are walking a 2.2 Mile Ruck Walk in Winter Garden to help raise money and awareness for the the 22 veterans we lose to PTS related suicide every day.

The Patriot Guard Riders' Vietnam and Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) walls will be on display at the event.

After the walk the festivities continue with a great family "picnic" day at the park. There will be lots to enjoy so please plan on staying afterward, it is an important aspect of the event!

When you support Challenge 22, you are helping veterans and first responders in a very personal way. The money raised will be distributed to organizations that provide help and hope to our fellow Americans. This year we will be working with our partners highlighted here.
PROJECT VetRelief provides assistance to active duty, our veterans, and their families in the form of funds (Emergency Assistance), experience (Benefits Support) and encouragement (Community).

SOF Missions is a non-profit organization that empowers warriors to find their purpose, be resilient and live well. They develop personalized care plans for veterans and walk with them through 365 days worth of care: psychological, social, spiritual, and physical.

We want to partner with you to make Challenge 22 a smashing success and help you promote your organization to over 1,000 event visitors and participants. Sponsorships are available from $50, giving every organization an opportunity to support veterans suffering from PTS and prevent suicide.
We are collecting in-kind donations for the silent auction! We appreciation in-kind donations including art, gift certificates, concert tickets, sporting event and theme-park tickets, baskets, handmade items, and military-themed items, as examples. Thank you for your generous support!
Other Donor options are available from $250-$50!
All donations are appreciated to help us reach our goal of $100,000! As a qualified 501(c)(19) organization with 100% of our membership as war veterans, donations to American Legion Post 63 are tax-deductible. Our federal tax ID number is 59-6200719.
